TaskGotchi processes the following categories of data:

• Local gameplay data: game state, events, simulated processes/files, settings, and progress. This data is stored locally on your device using a local database (Room/SQLite).
• Technical and usage data (Firebase Analytics): app usage events, device/app information, and aggregated metrics to improve features and stability.
• Diagnostic data (Firebase Crashlytics): crash reports, stack traces, and technical device/session information to identify and fix errors.
• User-exported logs: if you choose to export logs, a file is created in local cache, obfuscated/encrypted, and shared only through explicit user action.

3. Android Permissions Used

• POST_NOTIFICATIONS: to send notifications about app/simulated system status.
• RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED: to restore scheduled tasks (WorkManager) after device reboot or system/app updates.

4. Purposes of Processing

• Provide core app functionality and save local progression.
• Improve service quality, performance, and reliability.
• Analyze usage and technical issues for maintenance and development.
• Allow users to export logs for technical support purposes.

• Local gameplay data remains on your device until you clear app data or uninstall the app.
• Exported logs are created in local cache and can be shared manually by the user.
• Data processed by Firebase is retained according to Google/Firebase policies and retention periods.

We do not sell personal data. Data may be shared with technical providers (e.g., Firebase) only for the purposes described in this policy.

9. Security

We apply reasonable measures to protect data. Exported app logs are transformed into a non-plain-text format before sharing.
